Terms of Payment for Events

Payment is required within 14 days of receipt of registration, and must be received prior to the event.

Each paying delegate is classified as an Affiliate Member/s of the Australasian Railway Association (ARA). ARA Affiliate Member status is valid for financial year but does not provide access to other ARA member benefits. At the conclusion of the current financial year, individuals from non-ARA member companies will automatically revert to non-ARA member status while those employed by an ARA member company will continue their status as a full ARA member for the paid duration of their ARA membership. Payment is taken as acceptance of these terms.

Cancellation and Substitution

Cancellations must be advised in writing at least 10 working days prior to the event. A refund and/or credit will not be given if a delegate fails to attend or cancels within 10 working days prior to the event. Substitutions can be made at any time. ARA reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event and will make every effort to contact participants in the event of an alteration to the program.

Collection, Use and Storage of Personal Information

ARA collects your personal information if you choose to supply it to us through our website forms (including registering for events). By filling out these forms and providing personal information through this website, you consent to ARA collecting, storing and using this information as set out in the ARA’s Privacy Policy which is available here.
